Explorer.exe crashes when authenticating (LDAP) to a network location

This issue just started two days ago. My profile will tell you my system config settings. I'm VPN'd in for work and work from home and need to access a \\server\share. When I go to that location, I'm asked for my credentials. I enter my credentials (as I always have before), and then immediately get a Windows Explorer has stopped working error. Here's what's in Event Viewer:
Faulting application name: explorer.exe, version: 6.1.7601.19135, time stamp: 0x56a1bbe2
Faulting module name: ntdll.dll, version: 6.1.7601.23392, time stamp: 0x56eb3625
Exception code: 0xc0000374
Fault offset: 0x00000000000bf262
Faulting process id: 0x4538
Faulting application start time: 0x01d22004a4955c7f
Faulting application path: C:\Windows\explorer.exe
Faulting module path: C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll
Report Id: 1fd3a6b5-8c97-11e6-9ee2-3417ebaa5e2e

I have to be on VPN to get to that locatoin. I have another \\server\share that I go to as well (and network drives are mapped) and get the same issue. I'm connected to a domain. This has always worked until now and yes, I have restarted my computer.
