Hello jjvk and welcome to Seven Forums.

I've used AnchorFree's Hotspot Shield for several years and have been very satisfied. Their "Elite" (paid for version) has different payment plans other than automatic monthly renewal. But you might find that their free VPN service meets your needs. Hope this helps.

I've been using IVPN for almost a year now and am happy with it. I paid $100 for a year of service. You can also pay monthly or quarterly. I paid with cash (for anonymity/security reasons) so my service can't be renewed unless I renew it. You can achieve the same result (as far as renewal is concerned) by using one of those loadable cards that most large department stores sell, regardless of which VPN provider you choose. Load the card with just enough to pay for the 3-months of service (or however much service you want) and there will be no way they can automatically renew. Make sure the loadable card has a major credit card logo on it.

Would love some intelligence into this error message :sarc: Although this isn't a system performance hit, I wonder if there's a security or meaningful application risk associated with this error and, either way, am curious if there is a 'fix' to this. Entire up-to-date Speccy details of this DELL...
