Ethernet port keeps disconnecting please help

    Ethernet port keeps disconnecting please help


    I have tried another router port and still the problem is there...

    I have used the same port on the router and it works on my laptop but it wont on my pc

    when the i get the problem it cuts off for 3-5 secs then its back on and so on....

    I have ran cmd ping google.co.uk and when it cuts off/disconnects it says
    Reply from 173.194.41.183: bytes=32 time=55ms TTL=58
    Reply from 173.194.41.183: bytes=32 time=32ms TTL=58
    Reply from 173.194.41.183: bytes=32 time=31ms TTL=58
    General failure.

    General failure.
    Request timed out.

    Reply from 173.194.41.183: bytes=32 time=30ms TTL=58
    Reply from 173.194.41.183: bytes=32 time=30ms TTL=58
    Reply from 173.194.41.183: bytes=32 time=31ms TTL=58

    Any Help

    Your network card name, This can be found in the Device Manager.
