    File Upload Speed

I'm using Norton 360 in windows 7 and recently upgraded my FIOS internet speed to 25/15. The 25 download is at 25 when I run the speedtest on both Verizon and non-Verizon test sites. The upload speed is stuck at around 6. A verizon tech tested the router through his laptop device and was getting speeds of 25/25 through their site. I'm am assuming that my firewall/security software is responsible for the slower upload speed. Any suggestions on increasing the file upload speed?

    Hi and welcome

I would start by testing with norton disabled. I assume you are using homegroup for networking. Homegroup uses IPv6 which sometimes causes slowdowns and random drops. You could change from homegroup to workgroup and disable IPv6.

Let us know if we can be of help
