Just to add to ICIT2LOL's excellent advice about Kaspersky:

I have always used it and, unlike many other AV programmes, every upgrade, every year, gets more efficient, with more useful features, while getting easier to use. It's also very easy to download and install upgrades.

Good luck Jager and if you get into strife with the settings Berison and I (and probably a lot more) can help you out with those

I don't think you will regret it and as an afterthought you can run MBAM and SuperAntiSpyware alongside Kaspersky - no worries.

He he Bertison hole in one mate

Now last thing Jager if I didn't mention it before have a look through this my bible when installing or fixing.
You may lose some of the "bling" (like transparency) but the machine will run that bit faster and more efficient and the authour is just the nicest and cleverest fellow you could met if you need to ask a bout some of the tweaks. Optimize Windows 7
