Connected to Network but Network Center Says I'm not Connected

Hello,

I've been having a weird issue with my Network Manager. I'm connected to the internet I can browse the Internet but when I click the Network Manager Icon it says that I am currently not connected. This is both for WIFI and Ethernet connections. I'm not sure why this is. Internet is working but I would like to resolve this problem.

The only thing that I can think of is that I installed Oracle Virtual Box, but that was over a couple weeks ago and this problem started a couple days ago.
