    Firewall and browsing settings problem

    Hi all,

As my flag states, I'm from Iran (unfortunately). The IP address of Iranian people is banned from many many websites (excluding this one), that is, if I have a scientific problem, social or something else, I can't use international sources (websites).
For that issue, we use proxies (paid or free).

Now my problem, my problem is while I'm on the Web using a proxy (VPN), sometimes it will be suddenly disconnected. I close the VPN program and open a non-banned website (E.g., Google.com) or a local site. But neither google Chrome nor other browsers opens/loads the pages. Even if I start the proxy program again, sometimes it also doesn't work.

Whatever the problem is, it's annoying me much. And I think the Firewall of my Windows (7 x64) is the performer of this snag.

I want you please help me to 1- understand what the source of the problem is and 2- how to solve it.

    Thank you very much.

Hi Franky, it would help others to help you if you would advise what is your browser and what is the hardware you use to connect.
I.E. modem and or router model number.

    Hi, thanks,

I use an ADSL line (with a TP-LINK TD-W8901G modem-router) and my browsers are: Chrome, Firefox and IE.
