Your credentials didnt work error when trying to connect to a RDK

Hi, I have another computer and I would like to connect to it via Remote Desktop Connection. I have tried several times but I always get the message: Your credentials didn't work, please use another credentials.
I am using windows 7 professional on both computers, I have tried disabling the firewalls and some other things I red online but I couldnt make it work so far.

    Can you please help?

...can you pls elaborate a bit, do I need to place them exactly as you mention it with the backward
slashes? (Please see picture below). Do I have to change the username and passwords for both PCs and make them equal?

    What is fred?
