Anyone have experience with hotspots? Hotspot gateways?
Currently my internet is distributed my my ISP's cable modem to my Netgear router.
My ISP is total shit and I am switching to Verizon wireless. So, what do I need to connect the wireless signal to my router? I want to keep my existing network as it connects desktops, printer and TV and broadcasts wirelessly to family laptops etc. |

Answering my own question here, it seems an LTE modem is the answer. It will simply replace the cable modem and everything else should continue to function as currently.

How to configure multiple gateways I have 2 routers, 192.168.0.1 and 192.168.0.10. Computers are assigned IP address through DHCP with 192.168.0.1 as the default gateway. 192.168.0.10 is a test router to test different rules than what are set on the 192.168.0.1 router. For me to test, I usually just set the default gateway as... |

WI-FI hotspots Does and should a laptop remember WIFI hotspots it has accessed? Is there a setting to ensure that? I noticed that I had to let the system (Windows 7) know that this was a public place for internet access, as opposed to a home network. When I returned home, it remembered automatically my home... |
