Win7 desktop not visible to android devices on LAN

I have little understanding of networking. Until recently all worked according to Hoyle. This Win7 Pro sp1 PC is wired to a TP-Link Archer C9 router. This machine shares on the Homegroup and LAN with another wired Win 7 pc ok but is not visible to any wifi android devices. The second PC shares fine with android devices so I suspect this PC is at fault.

My Win7 desktop does not see USB 3.0 devices.
I have 2 USB 3.0 devices. When I plug them into USB 3.0 ports, my PC does not see them. When I plug them into USB 2.0 ports they work, though, I'd guess, a little slower than they were designed to. I checked BIOS and USB 3.0 is enabled. I have downloaded the latest AMD chipset software release....
