    Logging Into Local Admin Locks Out The Domain User Logged In

    Riddle Me This Friends,

    I had to install software for a user today, so switched user to .\admin , while the user was logged in as domain\user and installed it. When the user tried to log back in, it stated his account was locked out. I thought it was just him, but it happened twice. I'll try again later, but what would be causing this? Seems to be the oddest thing to me, and my Google-Fu has left me lost. Thanks guys.

    You logged user off then logged in as local admin or you can the installation as administrator while user still logged in?

    @samuria

    I switched user, I didn't log the user off. The installation worked fine without the user being logged off.

    Try using runas admin while the user is logged in instead of switching it

    Yeah I could, but I'm still curious why that would happen. It doesn't happen to anybody else, only for this user on this machine.
