Why do you want to assign passwords to the printers? I have never seen that done. No one ever logs into a printer.

What you need to do is to give authorized people access to the printers they need; and then they are the only ones who can print to those printers.

Make sure you have disabled internet access to the printers, so that the only access to the printers will be through the network.

Welcome to the forum.

It may be possible to assign a password to a printer with third party software but that is not how Windows or domain security is designed to work. Security is based on the users account. This is more secure, easier to manage, and more convenient for the users. How this would best be done depends on the details of your specific situation. It is a pretty basic part of domain administration.
