Can't set up Dial-up connection; no modem connected.
I have a 3G USB modem that I use to access the internet. This is some Huawei device, and I have it installed all correctly. The device manager shows the device under Modems as Mobile Connector. It seems to be working fine and is responding to AT commands. This device is also listed in Phone and Modems and is at COM6.
But when I try to set up a dial-up connection, the dial-up dialog box says that no modem is found. Interestingly, if I put Windows to sleep, the dial-up system can find the modem after waking up and I can connect to the Internet. However, when I restart, the connection can no longer connect apparently because the modem is removed.
