Win 7 ultimate x64 php printer install software failure

    I'm running win 7 ultimate x64.
I can't install the hp 4630 full feature driver with a usb cable or wireless.
Printer is wirelessly connected to the internet and it and its works perfectly. My problem is that i can't connect it to the computers network. It is seen in the network map withh a notation "that it can't be connected to the (computer) network. It is shown in devices and printers.the hp trouble shooters do not help. I tried system restore and safe boot to no avail.
Hp used to have a network install wizzard but it was droped. I would like a copy if anyone has it.
I setup a new admin account and that did help. I changed the original account to a standar user, but did not remove it just too much stuff ther.
Guys and girls i would apperciate any help.

    Hi samuria
thanks for the info. I don not have the ability to select network when i setup printer ports. I have a hunch you may mean in the initial printer setup or install. There i used the wireless printer installation to install the printer. Please advise if i'm off rack.

I may have my problem but not a solution. I can not start "hp network devices support" in windows services. I get and error code of 126- can't find the specified module.

There is no good info on the web for my win 7 x64 ultimate system and hp software.

Newer is not always better. But hopefully in this case it is.

Thanks for the suggestion. The driver installer didn't work again. Still think my problem is my inability to start the hp network devices support. That service is not in other ultimate versions of windows.
Going to try a different approach. Going to start over and try to find and download a copy of the program installation software, the disk.

The software my link pointed to is "HP Officejet 4630 e-All-in-One Printer series Full Feature Software and Drivers". It is the full installation software, not just the driver: "The full solution software includes everything you need to install and use your HP printer. This collection of software includes the complete set of drivers, installer and optional software." I am certain of this, because the size of the download is huge -- 162.6 MB.

Click the Expand All link in the upper right of the HP screen. This will show you the driver-only install. Perhaps a driver-only install will do the job for you.

The link led tothe full feature driver, also called the printer aassistant. Which wont load for me. I have the problem of the hp network devices support that will not start and or a port issue. They could be interrelated, could be. Itis very frustrating in that my 2 other computers have the win 7 ultimate, but with different versions of windows and they both have the same port.

    Again thanks
i have more info on the port info if you want to delve into it let me know.
