i can ping to 127.0.0.1 but not to the localhost name

    dear samurai i attached screenshot as informed yesterday

    dear all who helped me
    actually it was kind of silly mistake from my side
    is deleted below some time ago while trying to solve other problem
    befor i did below i exported the registry -- which was the right move



    now checking below link i found the solution
    so after importing the registry i can ping now also local host

    Start/Stop DNS Client service in Windows 7 from Services, Regedit or CMD

    so it was DNSCACHE in the registry i deleted erronuosly

ping localhost wrong ip

hello, when i ping "localhost" comes a ip like this "::1:".. but i want 127.0.0.1 for coding in xampp. i have disable the ipv6 in the connection settings but localhost says still "::1:". ps: sry for bad english, im form germany. ;)
