    No Access Local Net-Internet OK

    Good Afternoon,

One machine of three can no longer access my workgroup via either Total Commander or Windows Explorer.

The Internet works, other machines can see the offending machine, and I can use my workgroup via the command prompt - but not otherwise.

After doing some tidying earlier, I booted the machine without having fitted the ethernet plug. Realising this I closed down, fitted the network plug and rebooted. Could this be the cause of the problem? If not, then what?

(Windows 7 Pro 64-bit all three machines)

    Thanks for your reply.

    'via IP' ?

Enabling NetBIOS makes no difference. It was set to Default, as it is on the other two marhines.

Further to this: I disabled 'Virtual Box Host-only Network' and got my homegroup back, but this presumably leaves me without Virtual Box (

    Any suggestions welcome.

This doesn't matter as Virtual Box works (possibly no network access), but I don't need that.
