Your traffic consumtion would be about the same that if you were connecting directly.
The VPN is actually just a proxy, all it does is to receive your request, forward them to the final server, and the repeat its response to you. The amount of data in your modem will be almos the same as before, just going to a different server.

So yes, you'll still need the same amount of data as before.

Every request you make must go though your ISP, even though it now goes to a proxy server instead of a real server, as well as every response you get from websites must reach your computer somehow, and the only way is though your modem and though your ISP.
VPNs (claim to) add an encryption layer, and changes who can snoop on you, but don't help at all with data volumes.

Dedicate more memory to graphics?
I dont have a great graphics card, and it is integrated into my motherboard and uses a percentage of my RAM. I was just wondering if it is possible to dedicate more of my RAM to my graphics since i never use all of it anyway? I know this sounds kind of stupid but my mind wanders on occasion.
