    to cafe wi fi but cant get the box for password to pop up


    hi

    can anyone assist me pls
    win 7
    Fire Fox

    trying to connect to cafe wi fi but cant get the box for password to pop up, it appears with other out of range networks.
    tried usual rebooting, other people with apple or android are ok with it.
    win diagnostics reset network adapter.
    router has been rebooted.

    Most Cafe Wifi are open, that is, has no password. You just choose connect and you will see as "connected". Then when you open the browser (like Firefox) a page will pop on and you will have agree with the terms.

    yes only a very few are open in here in uk...we're too mean:) to buy our own connection so the cafe's protect theirs
