    Wireless Connection Keeps Dropping

I have recently installed a complete fresh copy of Windows 7 Ultimate x64. I downloaded my drivers from HP.

I connect to the internet via a hot spot on my mobile phone. And ever since installing Win 7 my connection keeps dropping out. Prior to installing the OS I was using Windows 10, same connection and it was not dropping out at all.

I am really not sure what to try or do to solve this problem. Any help would be extremely grateful. Thanks

So you're tethering to your phone? What software are you using to accomplish that? Or have you created a WIFI hotspot with the phone? If so, perhaps you can use the USB cord to your phone and computer to create an Internet connection.

I use the WiFi Hotspot on my phone and connect it to the laptop. I know I can do a BlueTooth connection but that is so slow.

I didn't say Bluetooth. Try the USB adapter. That may or may not work. There is an App called PDANet to accomplish that.
