    Since this was owned by your employer there's no telling what kind of security controls are in place. If I where you I would reinstall windows. You might have windows deactivate on you eventually anyway, especially if it is enterprise.

    Thanks for everything you all - somehow got the proxy settings to work correctly, and it looks like I’m good to go! I appreciate all the help I getting me fixed! :)
