    Win7 0x80070035

I'm a small company running 4 DellPC's all Windows 7, using a wired network through a BTHub5 router. Lets call the PC's ABCD where A is the newest.

Since a Windows update last week (KB4480055) on PC A all the PC's B,C,D have been unable to access A on the network (it is a public network, running without p/w protection). Though I have since tried it also as a work network with and withoutfirewall

I have tried everything to get the network back to where it was, but the only thing that works is to do a system restore to the time before the that particular Windows update. And then of course it updates again.

    It returns error code 0x80070035

I have followed advice on youtube for 0x80070035 code errors but nothing works.

    Any advice most welcome!!

There is a known problem with one of the latest updates causing this. Have you tried downloading KB4487345 and seeing if that fixes it?

I would suggest that you change the WU settings to never check for updates. That way you have control over your network. Then you can test the updates out beforehand to see if it causes you any issues!

    I hope this helps!

    Hi Paul,

I hadn't tried KB4487345 but I have now and it worked. Wonderful! I had spent half the week trying to get that to work. I had googled KB4480055 earlier in the week and not seen any issues, but glad I came to these forums.

    Many thanks :) :)
