You need to find out what router "A" IP is, Typically it will either be 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1, It's your gateway router

You can find this with the command " ipconfig " and look for Default Gateway.

If you don't know how to open a command prompt this tutorial on Seven Forums should help.

    Command Prompt

its suppose that the ip is the one i entered in the previous step, which is the same as the router A but with one aditional number, if 192.168.1.1, it would be 192.168.1.2.

i entered that number and it works for the log in but few seconds later then say can not connect

also, i con not find the option for the step 10

Sorry about that I missed the part about step 9 router B, Are you totally disconnected from router A while working on router B.

The only other things I can think of is that maybe when you pressed save in the previous step it did not actually save the settings for some reason, I would retry router B from the beginning again.

    EDIT:
Try connecting to router with WiFi and then try to open 192.168.2.2 IP

If you cannot connect to router B again you may have to reset the router, usually there is a small hole at the back of the router and you press a buttun with a pin or a open paper clip.

I think that setting might not show up until after you set a static ip then turn off DHCP then restart, and reconnect.

no, i am not getting that option, at least i dont know where it is, what you mean with static?

what is done in this step?
    Step 7

Click "LAN Settings" from the main menu. Add one to router A's IP address and enter it as the IP address for router B. For example, type "192.168.2.2". Type the same subnet mask as router A, for example "255.255.255.0".

everything its getting to the dark side of network i hated for years xD i preffered to learn anything else but not dealing with networks and here i am

Page 26 of your user manual indicates the login for your router is 192.168.2.1. This plus other login info is on routerdefaults.org. I'm not caught up on the recent posts above, sorry if you already knew this
