    Homegroup/sharing errorcode 0x80070035

I'm gonna say from the get-go that I have tried almost everything I can think of to resolve this issue. All of the articles/forum posts with random fixes haven't worked. My problem is that my main PC cannot connect to my other PC's shared folders. I have tried everything suggested on Google and even on these forums to troubleshoot the issue myself. The weird thing is that I can ping back and forth between both computers, but my main PC cannot access shared folders by the other PC. The other PC can access everything shared via homegroup. This is my last ditch effort to figure out why this isn't working.

Both PCs run Windows 7 Home Premium.
Main PC is connected via Wire.
Other PC is connected wirelessly. I've used xirrus Wifi inspector to check the quality of my connection and it's solid.

I've tried: resetting all of the homegroup/sharing settings on both pcs, deleting extra network adapters, using the Admin CMD prompt to reset IP, flushDNS, renew IP, etc. I have both local firewalls turned off to see if that changed it. I've even uninstalled windows updates because this thread: System Info - See Your System Specs Mentioned uninstalling previous updates (which didn't work for me). I also have my credentials saved on both computers.

I have everything enabled on advanced sharing settings, but password protected sharing and homegroup login manager to login via user accounts.

This is a recent problem, but I don't have windows update enabled to automatically update. I haven't made any major changes to my PC, so I have no idea why it just stopped working out of the blue.

Does anyone know what the problem could be or at least point me in the right direction? I'd prefer to figure out why this is happening, but every "solution" I've tried hasn't helped.
