That's great. Her desk is such a mess that I couldn't see the wire. I'll post back after I go over there.
Does either of you know why it would print docs, but not pdf's? otherwise I'll hit my search engine.

I would go here: Epson Stylus-CX7400 setup Support Wireless Setup, Driver Downloadand follow the directions for setting up the printer. For many printers, it's necessary to first connect the printer via USB in order to setup the wifi. Looks like this is one of them.
