So this might work but if two people plug it in at once the SSD might get corrupted or maybe the signal would not make it through the splitter for some reason ? Fiber wont slow down USB 3.1 and that is USB 3.1 Gen 2 is (10Gbps so the speed of SSD would be fully taken advantage of. Great for 3d Cad
