Windows 7 Pro not detecting Network Adapter

    Hello guys.

Just installed Windows 7 Pro x64 on my Sony Vaio VPCEH14FM. The laptop was freezing and stuff before, so I was hoping a refresh with a little better system would help. Seemed to have worked, but I can't test the cursed IE and download Firefox, as well as a CPU test because...

Windows isn't picking up the Network Adapter driver. I have this laptop for sell and when it sells I need to have it be able to connect to the internet.

    How do I fix this?

Please post the entire contents of the right hand pane that shows when you do this:

    start > run > msinfo32 > components > problem devices

you may have to widen the columns (via click and drag on column header edges) to get everything to show

I went to the Sony website and followed the appropriate steps to get to drivers for my device. Turns out I was looking in the wrong category in the first place. This is the link I had to go to:
    Intel(R) Centrino(R) Wireless-N 6150 / Intel(R) WiFi Link 1000 BGN Driver (Windows 7 64bit) | Sony USA

I then downloaded it using a different computer and put it on my external hard drive. I plugged the extHD into the Vaio and installed it onto my computer. Then, boom! It solved my problem. I knew it had to be a driver error (or lack of one) but it was just up to finding the right one.

Credit to u/panzerox123 of Reddit for the solution. He gave me the link.
