I am now turning off (disconnect) my internet during times when I am not using it for extended periods. At startup the internet is on. Is it possible to have it off at startup? How to?

rather awkward way would be to dissable the driver device in device manager, then when you want it run the troubleshooter

Thx Roy - I found the solution thru the control panel's network and internet. There I found a setting to have it enabled manually. So it is off @ startup and does not come on until I decide. Quik & simple, no fuss no muss.

My solution is the simplest, requires no 3rd party, no cliks, has no limitations and satisfies the OP, which the 3rd party does not.
