    It's probably way above your pay grade, but check out pfSense or OPNSense or Untangle... In pfSense or OPNsense you can install Snort, which in of its self is pretty cerebral...

    Do I dare ask why you need a HIPS? LOL

My HIPS alerts me that a flash drive has a 'thing' called autorun.inf embedded and often tries to activate. How does one go about removing it? NB KIS 2013 never spots it.

Intrusion Attacks

I have had 297 intrusion attempts from 2/10/10 to today (3-5-10) luckily I have Norton 360 which blocks the intrusions, but why am I being targeted, why so many attacks and how can I prevent these intrusion attacks?
