    does search work anything else?

    try typing the word notepad in start search box

    Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions

    note as you said the comp was originally W7 whats the OS version, unlikely to be Ultimate
    (see inside battery compartment -- post only version NOT the code)

    honestly im sick of all this trying to get it to work.. can someone just help me reinstall windows 11? every time i try it just says its not a valid win32 application, whatever that means..

    You create the iso file onto a usb then boot from it. Try this see if it has a recovery partition which will re install How to recover your VAIO with VAIO Recovery Center | Sony UK

    edit: tried to work this and it didnt work, my boot screen doesnt even have.. much on it. it just says " /NOEXECUTE=OPTIN /FVEBOOT=2633728"

    any usb recommendations? im assuming it has to be a certain kind of usb.. if not, then i have one. how can i make a iso file?

    also, ive been trrying to look for diver files and cannot find anything for my laptop. im not even sure if im looking at the right thing. i looked up "PCG-71F14N" and "VPCCB48FJ" and basically just found nothing even when going to the website in japan
