No network list on explorer tree

Changed new tp-link router for one from Charter. T-p would not link to my Samsung Smart TV. Charter's connected right away. Now I have noticed that my view in Explorer only shows my current PC. I have two other win 7 PC's and a win 10. All of them showed up on the tree with tp link router. I just received an old ASUS Chromebook and it cannot connect to the Charter in Wi-Fi. I rebooted the modem and router to no effect.
All of the PC's are hardwired expect ASUS. Any ideas or do I call Charter back?
PS. My Samsung TV is not in the picture either.

Is your new tp-link set to modem mode or Router mode? Did you assign each device a static IP or are they set to DHCP?
