    Using lan and wlan question


    Using Win7 on a laptop that has a trading program.

    Always used wlan with no problems until now where I'm am experiencing disconnections.

    Installed lan drivers and now hardwired.

    When removing the ethernet cable then using wifi, what is the default process when I reconnect the ethernet cable.
    Will it switch over to lan automatically or stay on wlan?

    If it's automatic can it be set up to favor eg. the lan over wlan when the ethernet cab;e is reconnected?

    It may not switch to lan once connected to wifi it depends on the metrics set for each if you turn wifi off it will use lan but if they are both on it may not
