    Internet Connection Problem

I am using windows 7 professional and had broadband connection for internet. However, I cannot open any of the sites from internet explorer 8. Whenever I diagnose the problem it says that DNS server is not responding. Plus I cannot login to live messenger, there I tried to troubleshoot but it marks in DNS server and keyport with yellow triangle. I have tried as much as possible and seeking proper guidance from anyone to fix that problem!!

Try this to determine if it is just a DNS issue or perhaps something a little more wide sweeping. Open IE8 and in the address bar type 64.233.169.99 (prefaced by http://) if google opens then it is a DNS issue. If not then it is something more. Do as senthil suggests above, and tell us what results you get from ipconfig /all
