Hello.
we´re looking for solutions and I am going to do the first proof-of-concept.

Usecase:

We have:

1. Pc clients with old hardware (and windows7 as main os)

2. new cloud (and sometimes android) based software that we want to run.
i.e use the old pc-machine as a thin client and do the workload somewhere else.
an attempt to extend the life of(1) as doing the work local seem to be to hard (Emulation)

This is not a typical mirrorcasting or smartphone/device issue.
We simply need to use the old windows-machines and connect to a remote android.
There need to be some kind of agent, or browser on the windows machine.
Agent opens in full-screen and connects through tunneling or remote protocols as a KVM.
And the user access a android app - if not a full desktop enviroment.
The windowsmachine is just used as a "thin client" and have to do remote keyboard-mouse-input.
Video is streamed backwards.

This means, that we also have to look at the solution backend.
Are there some providers that can host VPS-servers, android enviroment and open it (allow) for remote desktop?

Is there some opensource, or other virtualization you know of ?
That we can install and host by ourself ?

PS.
Emulators seem to be no option here.
I tried installing some but most of them are simply to heavy for the old machines.
Windows7, 4GB RAM, main issue is graphic and no hyper-v support in the hardware.

Bluestack, Memuplayer, and something called Lambada* ?
