can windows 7 do VPN to change location?

I would like to use a VPN, mainly to avoid the idiocy from the current blocking..
I use X on browser only, and even though my full birthday is on the main screen since 2017, they still cannot do anything...
(do they need an awful browser like chrome or edge??)
I use windows 7, it is much more functional, than the mess that is w10 (MS got rid of the team, now making the same mistakes..)

I use mozilla Firefox, microsoft security essentials, and malwarebytes free. I do not game at all. Search with duckduckgo. I watch youtube mainly to find out how to fix my worn out junk that I cant afford to replace..

I was thinking about a hardware solution, but it would great to do it with only the VPN server charges...

what are the possibilities???

i run Opera 95, has its own built in browser vpn

unfortunately opera has its own set of problems.. blame mega corps for using fancy code in the webpages...

though try looking for 'basilisk' that might work a bit better..
