    Windows 7 Ethernet Card PROBLEM!

Hey there...so i have upgraded to Windows 7 and i am having bad problems with my Ethernet card. for some reason windows 7 does not find it and well i guess its not compatible..before i installed windows 7 i ran the advisor and it said that there is a chance it wont work so i think i need a new one. i just wanted to ask if this would work on my computer and if it would work with windows 7 -go to the link-

    Amazon.com: D-Link DFE-530TX+ 10/100 Fast Ethernet Desktop Adapter: Electronics

it does not say anything about compatibility but the actual d link website says that it works with windows vista so im guessing it has windows vista drivers....does windows vista drivers work with windows 7...i need to know of this will work with my computer ASAP BTW i have a Emachines t5420.

    Hey Gangster.

It looks like the manufacturer is still working on it.

    Windows Compatibility Center

Have you tried to uninstall the drivers and let windows find the right ones?

I bet we can find a way to make it work :-> Let me do some digging and see what I can do. I believe that I have a dlink in an old machine that I can try on my current one. What kind is your old card?

    Mxdtr.com D-Link DFE-530TX+ PCI Adapter Driver Download

According to this website that card will work with windows seven. It also has the drivers you need. I installed the driver myself to see if it was a good driver and it was. Hope this helps.
