Try these commands to see if they work. Hit enter after each:

    sc stop “bonjour service”

    sc delete “bonjour service”

In the start menu, type regedit then hit enter. Navigate to

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\WinSock2\Parameters\NameSpace_Catalog5\Catalog_ Entries\000000000004

(please note: the final digit in this key may vary depending on your circumstances - look through all the entries under Catalog_Entries - the key you're dealing with should contain LibraryPath = C:\Program Files\Bonjour\mdnsNSP.dll)

    • Within that key find the entry:

      Enabled=REG_DWORD:00000001 - change it from 1 to 0.
    • Exit out of the command prompt and reboot your PC.
    • Once you have logged back in, delete the C:\Program Files\Bonjour (with the files mDNSResponder.exe and mdnsNSP.dll).

One last thing I can recommend it to reset the network tcp/ip stack. Bonjour messes it up and this will fix it.

From an elevated command prompt, hit enter after each:

    netsh winsock reset catalog

    netsh int ip reset reset.log

    Reboot.

I just tried to enable it myself and this is what I got.

Type msinfo32 in the start menu. Hit enter. Ctrl+s on the screen that opens. Zip or rar the saved file. Attach to a post using paperclip. I can look at all your services to see what's going on.

    In services, disable

    PnP_X IP Bus Enumerator
    NVIDIA Stereoscopic 3D
    DNS Client

You still have Bonjour service installed. Google for how to completely remove it. That's most important.

The easiest way is to use Dameware to remove it. Run it then look for your machine in the left. If it's not there, add it manually under favorite machines section. Go to services. Then double click on remove service. Click next. Change the dropdown to Bonjour. Check the box for include device drivers. Click next. Click finish. Then reboot and delete the Bonjour program folder.
