    Too bad about the troubles. I'm running a 615 right now with 7 Pro x64 no issues at all. Both N & G are being used and I can stream digital content easily to a WPS N access point to Xbox 360.
    True. Even at g speeds, that's enough to stream a Blu-Ray disc!

    Blu-Ray = ~ 20 to 40 mbps
    G = 54 mbps in a perfect test environment
    G+ = 108 mbps in a perfect test environement

    Well no matter what I did one or the other computer will loose connection, lag or not connect at all. So I'm looking for something else. I'm not the only one just look at d-links forum.

    Look at any router maker's forum. It's mostly from misconfigurations.

    That could be and maybe another d-link router would be good. I can live with the n laptop running at g but not when one or both always has a problem.

    Never have had a problem with old router with any issues. Just always works.

    I hear that, no doubt.

    I'd still try the WPA2 with AES for the heck of it.

    Someone else still may have been using the router for their own use.
