    Windows 7 wireless connection help!

My wireless connection will simply not work for windows 7. My mom is connecting fine with service packet 3 and, hardwired to the internet with an ethernet cable, the internet works fine. First when I got my laptop it read my linksys wireless connection just fine, but after a few days it was no longer able to read the connection and it showed my wireless status as "no connection available" with an 'X' over it. I purchased a new router (netgear) and after a couple hours I received the same problem and I have no idea how to fix this! please help me!!!

    Hi and welcome

I suspect you are using homegroup and IPv6 for networking. With some systems it can be difficult. can you tell me about both your comptuers cad (wifi0 and network setup
