I assume you are running Homegroup and IPv6. On some systems IPv6 causes random drops, slow downs, and general connectivity probs. IF you are using homegroup, it is fairly painless to change over to workgroup which doenst use IPv6. Just go into networjk and sharing. create a new network based on teh workgroup model. When it is setup and working you can dis able IPv6 and kill the homegroup Let Us know if you need help with that Ken J++ |

I just recently created Homegroup so maybe that is it. How do I create a new network?
I go to "Set up a new connection or network" -> "Set up a new network" After that I can't do anything since nothing comes up on the dialog box for me to go to the next screen. |
