    Network credentials fail (Error code 0x80070056)


    When I try to create a system image on a network location Windows asks for Network credentials for the target location. The credentials I enter are correct but I always get an error message that the location can't be used because the password is not correct (Error code 0x80070056).
    Is this a bug in Windows 7? Any way to fix or work around this?

    Btw. it's a netdrive - D-Link DNS-323. And the drive I want access for the backup is already mapped to my computer.

The following three updates fail with the same error code (80070490): KB3031432 KB3004375 KB3004394 I already used SURT and SFC Scan, but didn't any errors and didn't fix the issue. Sorry I had to split the CBS logs due to the 8 Mbyte limit. Thanks in advance for your help.
