wireless doesn't show up on list

what router is it?some have a switch to turn wireless on/ off

It's a Siemens SE 587 router.

It's on. I'm on a wired connection to it right now.

seem to remember problems with these not remembering profiles,ssid,have you tried running set up again?or if thats what you are trying have you deleted your profile?

Yes. I've been connected to the router for like 2 weeks now without a problem. The lease time I had was for 1 year.

The thing is when it's connected The name of my nectwork on the wireless shows up and it shows that I'm connected to it.

However if I get disconnected my network doesn't show up. The other networks of my neighbours still do but mine seems to disappear.

Hi. Thanks for helping. Er...I don't want to do anything too drastic incase I mess up my sisters wireless connection.

I'm not that technically minded so if you guys need some screen shots of anything let me know.

How do I delete a profile?

Yes. I was connected to my router last night until someone ( ) turned it off.

After I turned it back on all i get is that orange icon and the only networks that it shows are my neighbours.

to delete your profile go to network and sharing,manage wireless networks,then right click and remove.how do you normally get back up and running as it seems this has happened before?
