Can't share with Macbook pro

Hey guys, my dad has a Macbook Pro with Snow leopard (whichever is the latest one), I have a wireless setup at my home, my dad can go on to the internet but he can't see any of the windows 7 computers.
Similarly my pc does not see him. When i had XP i didn't have this problem. I'm unsure as to how solve the problem, any suggestions? thanks in advance
