remote desktop winxp pro to win7 home premium

ok i give up, honest i did rtfm, well google, but not finding anything that says definite yes or no, "can i rdc from winxp to win7 home premium?"
i can rdc from the win7 to my xppro, but trying to get back from the xp pro machine to the win7 not connecting
did all the enabling in win 7 system, have all win firewall disabled, using comodo instead and opened up the standard win rdc port in comodo, one thing i noticed the dhcp public ip for the win 7 machine has a 255.255.224.0 subnet, instead of the usual 255.255.255.0, don't think that should make a diff, but just putting that out there

Win 7 HP does not include the RDP host, only the client. Need 7 Pro or Ultimate to make use of RDP with the Win 7 machine as host.

ok thanks, for clearing that up.
so when you 'allow remote assistance connections....' that is 'special' type of rdp?
looks to be pretty much rdp but somehow there's a parameter that identifies it as the special type of rdp to allow it to work?
if not the above, what is the purpose of having that 'allow' available?
