    File and Printer sharing for microsoft networks (checked)
    reliable multicast protocol (checked)
    Internet protocol version 6 (TCP/IPv6) (not checked)
    Internet protocol version 4 (TCP/IPv4) (checked)
    Link-layer Topology discovery mapper I/O driver (checked)
    Link-layer topology discovery Responder (checked)

    I think it is a PCI adapter, however i am not sure how to check

    motherboard would be a ASrock 775v88+

    Can you pls detail what is in Device Manager, under Network Adapters?

    While you at it check windows Logs, in Event Viewer for any errors that you can see that relates to this adapter.

    are all device manager entry's ok all drivers installed all the way down click on show hidden devices

    in device manager under network adapter is:

    bleutooth device (Personal Area Network)
    bleutooth device (RFCOMM Protocol TDI)
    VIA Rhine II compatible fast ethernet adapter

    there are no errors related to the adapter in eventviewer

    That motherboard has built in LAN port do you have a PCI LAN card anywhere you can install and try

    all (also the hidden ones) drivers are installed correctly (well except for my audio driver, but that is off later concern)

    i don't have any spare PCI LAN cards to install on my computer

    could a bios update help with the internet connection (because it will be a lot of trouble since i cannot reach internet, and we don't have burners on the other computers)

    yes it's very possible that a bios update could cure the problem however it would be easier to try another adapter if you had one for a quick test

    This is ultra weird, it doesnt seem like you have tcp/ipv4 enabled on this NIC. And you are absolutely sured that you have update the drivers from here
