    I unfortunately am having the same issue. I have no network access but its fine when i boot in safe mode. i will read from the start and try some of the steps but as of right now nothing has worked.

    Old thread, I know, but I just had this program and these guys are giving the right advice. What I did not notice right away is that after checking I had internet in Safe Mode, I should have gotten the same thing in msconfig with everything shut off. But that did not work. The answer is here if anyone gets this far and cannot find the problem.
    Windows 7 x64; NO internet except when in safe mode!
