If I were to get a dongle or a card, when I went to install it would it tell me of another was allready installed (albeit very unlikely)? (save me installing another one).

Whilst we are here how would I check if it came with a Tv Tuner I remeber distinctly that on the advertised specs at the shop it said it had a TV Tuner. I looked at Device Manager I am not sure what to look for to see if I have. I have found the following AVerMedia A336 MiniCard Hybrid DVB-T, is this an indication of a TV Tuner?

It might, but it should still let you install and use the new device. Best to go back to the shops and buy one off them. And when you're there, might want to tell them about your existing machine, how you are unsure if it has BT or not.

DVB-T = TV Turner, yes.

Thanks

What would you say is the best to buy a dongle or a card with my computer. Is there anything else I should look out for when buying it?

With regards to the tuner would I need an aerial to detect a signal?

Ok

Thanks

If you don't mind, would I need a aerial for the tuner?

Alway best with external aerial but that depends on the tuner, is it compatible with external aerial?

Maybe it'll say it on the box, or by looking at the device, is there an "aerial" hole?
