Help search for wireless connection

I have installed windows 7enterprise, and I can't figure out how to go somewhere and get a wireless signal. With vista I could click on "search for a wireless network" In the connect to, button.
and it would give me a list to choose from, either secure or un secure, then select one and your in. I can't seem to find this opption with windows 7, can anyone tell me how to search for a signal and connect to a wireless net work?
Probably staring me right in the face. thanks
