Network architecture for 7 vs Vista x64

I have a Linksys WMP110 V1 wireless adapter hooked into my desktop. I bought it because the box said Vista64 on it.

It could only work with an aftermarket atheros driver on Vista x64.

I upgraded to 7 and now get the same symptoms from initial purchase. BSOD on bootup everytime.

Everywhere I look, people talk about the network protocols are the same as before. No changes between 7 and Vista.. If that was the case, why is my card now obsolete?

    Any ideas?

    Hi skegless,

    Here's a workaround: WMP110 Windows 7 64bit Driver - Wireless Adapters - Linksys Community Forums

Let us know if that works for you.

    Cheers,
