No access even though i shared.

I shared both of my hard drives to my other 2 lap tops in my home network. I gave permissions to everyone and turned off password protected sharing. Still, it tells me that access is denied when i try to access the files from the other lap tops. Same thing happens on vista as well.
    I shared them like this:
    Right click on the disk
Click advanced sharing in the sharing tab
gave permissions to everyone and applied.
I turned user account control off just in case.
I'm using Comodo Internet Security with added exceptions, regular firewall is off.
I'm pretty sure i'm missing something but it don't really know what. I want to be able to have full control over the HDD's on all the machines from any machine. By that i mean something like copying a movie from PC1 to LapTop1,or even watching it. Typing a document and saving it on another HDD in the home network. Plz gimme a hint.

I appologize, i saw the tutorial and fixed the problem.I 4got about the security, feel free to delete the tread since it's allready covered in the tutorial. Again, i apologize.

    We need some information...

What is the operation systems you are trying to connect too... and yours as well.
Please be spciific like tell us if it is Windows XP Home or Vista x64 things like that becuase depending on the type is a way that it has to be configured and connected too.

We also need to know how many computers we are talking about. Are they hard wired or wireless... if both define that with the computers.

What kind of router are you useing? make model and the firmware pls
