    Windowes 7 Homegroup User Accounts


    Help

    i have set 4 pc home group with windows 7 and all went well.

    But is there any way of not leting the kids user accounts have accses to the home group

    We need some more info. Do you want to keep them from network, or the internet, or both? If for some strange reason you want to keep them off the network all you need to do is put a passord on the homegroup and dont give it to them

    These settings can be used for that purpose. You will be able to share with who you want by using these settings to designate who you want to share with. Choose "specific people" then onto the second window you can choose who to share with. You may need to add user names to the list first.
